What the platform does
reservationbay covers the full rental cycle: a customer books and pays online, a contract is signed before the object leaves, a deposit is held, condition is recorded at handover and return, and the deposit is released or settled. Around that sit inventory, promotions, a customer portal and reporting.
Every plan includes every feature on this page, and unlimited locations and objects. Plans differ only in the monthly fee and the commission per booking.

Are any features locked behind a higher package?
The operational ones are not. Booking, contracts, deposits, inspections, inventory and the customer portal are in every package including the free one. Higher packages lower your commission and payment rates and add promotional tools and deeper reporting.
Can I use only part of the platform?
Yes. Plenty of businesses start with booking and payments and turn on contracts, deposits or inspections later. Nothing forces you to configure a feature you are not ready for.
Does it work on a phone at the counter?
Yes. Handover, return and inspection flows are built to be used one-handed on a phone, because that is where they actually happen — next to the rack, not at a desk.
