How contracts work
You write a contract template per object type — one for bikes, another for campervans — and the platform fills in the booking, customer and object details and sends it for electronic signature. The signed document is stored against the booking and available to both sides afterwards.
Rental disputes are almost always about what was agreed and what condition something was in. A signed contract answers the first half; the inspection record answers the second.
Getting the signature before arrival rather than at the counter does two things: it removes the slowest part of handover on a busy morning, and it means a customer who will not accept the terms declines before you have set the object aside for them.

Can I use my own contract text?
Yes. You supply the terms; the platform handles merging in the booking details, collecting the signature and storing the result. We do not impose contract wording on you.
Can different objects have different contracts?
Yes, and they should. A campervan agreement and a bike agreement have almost nothing in common, so templates are set per object type.
Is an electronic signature legally valid?
Electronic signatures are recognised across the EU under eIDAS for ordinary commercial agreements of this kind. If your situation is unusual, check the specifics with your own lawyer rather than taking a software vendor's word for it.
What if a customer will not sign?
They cannot complete the booking, which is the point. Finding that out at booking is far better than discovering it when the object is already set aside.
Can waivers be separate from the rental agreement?
Yes. A liability waiver or safety declaration can sit alongside the rental contract, which matters where the activity carries genuine risk.
